Welcome to the Leverage Lineman Camp — where future trench warriors are built! This FREE camp is designed specifically for 5th–9th grade athletes who want to develop their skills in the trenches. Participants will receive hands-on instruction from experienced coaches focusing on technique, footwork, leverage, hand placement, and overall line play fundamentals. Whether you're new to the position or looking to take your game to the next level, this camp offers a fun, high-energy environment to learn, grow, and compete. Come ready to work, improve, and dominate the line of scrimmage!
Meet Coach James Stone — Host of the Leverage Lineman Camp
James Stone is a Nashville native and former NFL center who brings a wealth of experience and passion to the Leverage Lineman Camp. A graduate of Maplewood High School, he was honored as Tennessee's Class 2A Mr. Football Lineman and earned a spot in the prestigious 2010 Under Armour All-America Game. At the University of Tennessee, Stone started 39 games, earning Freshman All-America honors and multiple All-SEC accolades. Undrafted in 2014, he signed with the Atlanta Falcons, where he played 21 NFL games over three seasons, including starting 10.
Beyond his playing career, Coach Stone has dedicated himself to mentoring young athletes. He has served as a coach and mentor at various camps, including the National Playmakers Academy, where he worked alongside fellow former Vol Antonio "Tiny" Richardson.
At the Leverage Lineman Camp, Coach Stone combines his elite-level experience with a passion for teaching, providing young athletes with the tools and inspiration to excel in the trenches.
Camp Registration begins at 11:00 AM sharp
Upon arrival, athletes and parents should check in at the designated registration table to receive their camp wristband. Please come dressed in athletic gear and be ready to participate — cleats are recommended. After check-in, athletes will be guided to a brief orientation and warm-up session before drills begin. Water stations will be available, but athletes are encouraged to bring their own labeled water bottles. Parents are welcome to stay and observe from the designated viewing areas
